Looking into one of these, does anyone have any experience with this new version of the Shoreluck's.

Need to match up my Steez 2508h with a new Jew stick.

Estuary from a boat.
Eva preferred over cork.
Length dont care

1/2oz jig head minimum for its max rating.

Ive seen the new evolouzion as a possible candidate, my megabass knowledge is pretty slim though any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I haven't felt a DESTROYER PHASE 3 F5-68XS ONIKIRIMARUDohbut apparently they are an absolute beast of a rod, does have a cork grip though.
Would be a few options hop on the megabass japan site and scroll through the rods and stats.

Just ordered a Hyuga 69L 2 piece as a bit of a 'general estuary' backup stick. Will let you know how this budget MB rod feels when she arrives.

Was going through this thread when I saw this. Do you think this rod is a bit to soft to throw large topwaters like Bents and larger crankbaits like chubbys?

Megabass Ambition

Has anyone tried the new 6"8 megabass destroyer ambition ? Was looking at it for a plastic rod. Mainly for plastics on flats so needs to be able to cast up 1/40 jighead well. Still needs to be able to pull fish out of marinas and other structure because it will be used for that aswell. Do people think this is a good rod for this and if not what rod would you recommend.

Specs are:
Length (ft) 6.8
Taper Extra fast
LureWt (oz) 1/32 - 3/16
LineCapa (lb) 2-7
Force (Power) F1 (SUPER ULTRA LIGHT)
Weight 99 g

Plastics on flats I would go a 7'6" rod.

Shoreluck SLL-78ULS solid tip, I have one and it's a fantastic plastics rod will also throw small hb's well.

Throws unweighted z-mans a fair distance.
