yeah but the luderick arn't in a place where luderick are found haha. I would also be surprised if they were parrot fish or wrasse.
I reckon you could be jagging fish still and theyre just popping off without realising they were hooked. Weight and slugging movement could be a foul hooked big sea mullet or something before it launches off. Have you tried running a small stinger hook on the back of your plastics? Might undo a few more luderick. |

i reckon its possibly the big sea mullet that likes to jump right in front of me...often jumping over my line :/

so yesterday it happened...the thing that all LB fisho's dread...
falling in. High tide, couldn't fish where i wanted to but tried to. Stood on one rock, then put foot on another...then that rock moved. Grazed shin (big bruise today) wet clothes and shoes (thankfully i live close to work). Luckily my phone didnt end up wet (its only a week old). Bit sore in my shoulder today, but didnt break anything...just my pride. |
