Popper top water stingers

Just wondering what surface lures people put stingers on.

Also, there are days when ribbon and other weed drives me crazy when using surface lures. How do you guys make surface lures weedless as possible?

Thanks
Trev

Most of my bream and whiting surface lures sport assist hooks. Though, if you want to go weedless, maybe pink grubbing may be the go.

Do you use the Ecogear replacement ones or tie your own?
