When we got caught in a 2008 / 2009 Indy weekend SSE frontal storm screaming up the Broadwater with lightning and hail - in a tinny with graphite rods - straight B line to nearest cover a bridge where we both held onto pylons for dear life while all hell broke loose with golf ball sized hail and lightening all around.

Best not to mess with weather especially being the tallest most conducive thing on flat water...
