I would go the suffix over fireline mate, both lines would perform better on baitcasters than spin gear.

In what breaking strain G?
I have 6lb on a 2506 Emeraldas and find it good. I think its always interesting to compare ones results against others.
Agree with your sentiment on Super PE.

+1 for super PE. you can get 150m spools locally for around $30, which is more than enough for bream or snapper.

That sounds good for the lighter line but need 300m in the 15-20lb stuff for kings shark and smallish tuna.
Where can i find super PE locally for that price ?

I use 8lb super on the bream but use 832 on some heavier gear and no complaints, its just a little thick for LB breaming though.
cheers nereus

How does the diameter of super PE compare to power pro, i ask because most of my reels are full of pp and i would like a better line without the price tag of mb dragon call (my preferred line)

SUNLINE CAST AWAY PE

is what i spool all my budget reels with.

Spooling with powerpro is really creating a quality and effectiveness bottleneck on your reel rod and ability.
