Who paints their rod tips for night luring?
I imagine very few - but it can be handy.
It helps spot little plucks on the line but there was also one unexpected benefit. It also helps when fish are diving around pylons at your feet - It allows to see exactly which direction the fish is heading - and how close you are to snapping your rod tip. |

Cant wait to see what answers are posted to this. Guess they might depend on ones level of definition . Regards HBt.

I originally used to put white tape on my night baito rods, to make them more visible - But after a while it got me thinking about my lure sticks aswell.
I do the majority of my luring after work so being able to see the tips is a bonus Last edited by yellow door 1; 12-06-2019 at 06:16 PM. |

Yeah it might do a bit of damage to the resale value - but by the time I'm done with them - my rods are only good for tomato stakes any way
