Question How many hours a week???

How many hours a week would you fish with lures roughly??..

I`d probably average 10-15hrs on the weekend, and about 2-4hrs mid week.

Interested to see how many hours others put in.

Cheers

Richo

Not enough would be the correct answer Richo

I actually fish more during the week than the weekends, I guess I average about 10-12 hours a week, mostly afternoon sessions when i have finished work. I only manage about 2-5 hours on weekends due to being solidly booked out by the missus

Cheers
Matt

Richo, I reckon I'm doing it 3 or 4 times a week. Never really thought about the hours involved.

Being unemployed I fish a lot, but there is always room for more, preferably during the week. 20hr+ weekly, working the structure from South Perth to Maylands. Arvo, mornin and the occational midday. Ever since I started using Sliders bait just dosn't cut it.

Cheers
Pete

Richo,
This is the first time in a forum, hope this works.

I put in about 10 hours a week on the Swan and Canning.
But sounds like I need to put in more time.
I think I need to get out with different people to swap ideas and techniqes. This only happens in comp,s.

It was interesting to watch Peters techniqe at Albany.

John.

G`Day John,

Good to see ya in the forums, and it worked no problems....and thanks for being me Boater on day2.... I had a great day, even though the conditions weren`t the best and the focus was a little down - it was good fun just being there.

And your right it was pretty good to see some of the other techniques on offer over the weekend. Especially Petes wild and erratic jigs n jerks etc.

If ya want to get out for a fish with some of the lads and to swap Ideas and pick up a few tips, Im sure you will find a few willling participants from here. I know you fish the w/days more than the weekends. So just put a post up a couple of days before and Im sure you`ll need a stick to beat them back. And I say if you can learn 1 new thing a day then its been worthwhile. PM me and we`ll try and get together for a chuck. I used a little trick from Geoff paulic to save 1 hard body and Craig saved a couple of jigs....

Cheers

Richo

As many as possible

It varies from week to week, but I average around 20 hours - if I'm on holidays that comes up to about 10+ hours a day, nothing better than watching the sun set, the beach rod and drinking cold cordial

I'll agree with the rest of you guys, no matter how many you put in you always want more

Cheers,

Hey John, lost the Forum cherry. You'll be a victim like the rest of us soon and never get any work done in between talking about fishing and actually going fishing

Regards

Craig

3 or 4 times a week!?

20 hours a week!?

Man I'm lucky if I can get it once a week and I'm even luckier if I can last more than a few minuets at a time!

I may be 30 but I have to make a real effort and think about something else like bream to last, actually thinking about bream is probably what is bringing it on quicker!

hahahahahahhahaha

Talking

I'll confess I fish a lot depends on the weather but here its "beautiful one day perfect the next" as the add says & its pretty close. I reckon I am a 5 to 6 hours a day man seven days a week I normally split in 2 sessions. I do about 3 to 4 early in the morning & the rest in the arvo. Sometimes more it just depends on the sea breeze. I fish even when I have next to no hope of catching anything! I just fish I can't help it I love it I am beyond being addicted to fishing I have become a fishing phsyco a .... a....a... Ravin Looney. I feel better now thats off my chest. Time to go & fish the last of the runout anyway I saw a huge flattie lay mark yesterday at the flat & maybe ........
