Yeah I bet there are a few crews that came out of Breammaster

"Old-School West-Side Gangsters"
"Niddrie Cave Dwellers"
"Spaghetti Factory Flat Chaps"
"CBD Roid Ragers"
"Dockland Shufflers"
"Mean Street Breamers"
"Botanical Perverts"
Or the "Upper Yarra Bashers"

Thanks for posting this old thread Larry, I just checked it out, what a cracker! That was 10 years ago and most of us still keep in touch.

It was great to fish the Docks and Yarra back then, you'd always bump into someone you knew. Then you'd get the Westside Boyz, always grizzling about how hard the Docks bream were to catch. We all knew they just lacked the skillz needed to fish our hood, anyone can catch Bream in the Nong.

Yeah I remember one day back in 2006, where I reckon I saw about 25 breammasters. About 15 of those were in the docks and the rest out on the rivers.

Heres a shot of 6 in one frame. (there were a couple just out of frame aswell)

I remember a day at the Yarra Marina where there would have been at least a dozen. Microvibes had just come out and everyone was smashing the fish on the pontoons.

Same as when Blades first arrived, we were finally able to get onto those deep winter Bream in the Docks; there'd always be at least half a dozen guys there at a time.

The info within these pages is too good to let go - If all it takes is a few threads here and there - I'll happily do my bit. I've always found the brains trust at Breammaster to be a cut above the rest. So its my first port of call when I want next level answers

The way I see it is - Breammaster used to be all about bream - but it just so happens that Breammasters have probably mastered alot of other types of fishing aswell.

So when you have a group of anglers who came to breaming coz they like a challenge - they're the sort of brains I want access to. No matter what the subject.

So just because I dont really chase bream anymore doesnt mean I want to give up this resource.

To me, Breammaster has always been much more than a website about bream.
Couldn't agree more mate.
