Just wondering if plastics have a shelf life if unopened ?

synthetic based with plasticizers etc i would think would least nearly forever if kept moist albeit some drying and fading. It would be no different to plastics in other uses.

The natural based ones definately have a shelf life. I found the ecogear ones go brittle even in the pack. Gulps seem to last years if their in the tup of liquid.

i have just recently opened a packet of gulp ive had sitting in my shed for a while.
it pretty much was like soft sponge, the pinkies pulled off a whole 5inch jerkshad off the jighead.
so id say gulp also has its limits

Kept in deent containers or in their origional packets it seems indefinitely, this being kept in a cubbord in tge cool and dark helps.

Gulps I've found some degradation even in their tubs of liquid...

ZMans - hate them... Bloody terrible things. Should be considered alike nitro-glycerine...
