If you are fishing out of a boat these are hard to beat,Strike Pro REDFIN JIGS they also work very well on Bass.Ice jigs or Bobbers are very effective if you tie the boat up to timber stucture and verticlly jig them off the bottom.

I was fishing for reddies not to long ago and was catching stacks on hards, I strted off using an SX40LC and then switched to my sgagit diving beetle 40 in that trout colour and was nearly getting a reddie a cast and then i got somthing a little bigger my first trout at 42cm
Those sgagit lures are pretty sick but there a little pricy @ around $28

I found out you can get em for $20 off www.fishin.com.au
