Watersnake Combat thoughts?

I'm looking at purchasing a bow mount electric soon and am leaning towards the combat as it has a remote control FOB and foot control and is reasonably cheap. It'll be going on a 3.5m savage tinnie. The model is a 55lb, 48" which is more than plenty. It's going for $569 at a number of online retailers. There are a few similar models in the range which I can't really tell the benifits apart from the remote FOB.
Has anyone used this model or other watersnakes?
I'll be using it mostly for maneuvering around snags, cruising flats and occasionally trolling.

I use to have a 5m centre console which when I took up the breaming craze I mounted a watersnake bow mount 54lb tiller control unit to and that leccy was awesome for my boat heap of power and reliable

I know others say you get what you pay for and that unit was fine never failed me and at $400 max a cheap investment

I now have downsized my boat to a 4m hornet which I run a motorguide cable steer and too be honest I at times think my watersnake had more power than this unit but this motorguide I run was from a mates bass boat that he imported and possibly this model "brute" im using isn't that powerful or the unit is quite old etc

if I was in a better position financially id def go a motorguide but until I win lotto that wont happen ahhahahaha

Yeah I also believe that you get what you pay for. I would love an XI5 but I can't justify putting one on my little tinny. I'll happily settle for a cheaper option.
