What knot do you use to keep the stringer up against the posts when tightening it? Just made one myself

Hey mate. I tie a leftys loop knot first off and that goes over the first post. Then it's a locked blood knot for the hook. It will slip a cm on the cinch so if I want to tie a 14cm stinger I ise the 13cm post/hole and when it's tightened just use the 14cm hole/post to verify correct length. I use lure clips (laZy) but you can just larks foot it through the jighead eye. |

Commercially manufactured, but still some innovation right there..

All I need is some $2 shop suction cup shower containers. That way - after I cut off my 50th dud lure for the day, they wont be all over the carpet. |

I might just stick to species I'm good at
Home made beer traps seem the only way for me to get a bag at the moment |

Though I must ask, what are you going to do with those things in the last picture or is that another trap?

Nah they were the victims of the beer trap - I just hung them up in the garden as a warning to the other slugs

Grabbed a couple of cans of Fiddly Bits in Matt black. The torch holder needed to be “Murdered out”

Obviously 2 cans is way too much for a small job and that kind of helped solve an issue this arvo
I fell for the classic “Gum tree ad bait and switch” The guy had a few back packs and I asked about the black Kathmandu and the north face He says no worries come on over I get there and they are sold but he does have a nice green one he can sell. At $5 it was too good to walk away from but there was one problem. It’s green And green clashes with my eyes. It’s currently in the washing machine. But once it dries - guess what else is getting “Murdered” Last edited by yellow door 1; 12-02-2022 at 02:31 AM. |
