Looks awesome!!
I'm not a fan of the oil and mag seals after reading the review on the mag sealed saltiga a while back. I had a 2010 certate 2500R and it was smooth as but under tension it made a clicking noise. Went back to daiwa and come back doing the same thing. The most frustrating part was knowing it was something small and that I couldn't pull it apart and fix it myself. I now use more shimano and pre mag/oil sealed reels for this reason. The way I see it is all this technology is good to use but I like the K.I.S.S theory. Keep it simple!

I'm with you Mick. I do like the look of these reels (with the exception of the Exist) but I enjoy being able to look after my own gear.
Not that I'm in the market for anything in particular at the moment, all my needs are pretty much covered.
Although I did catch myself coveting a surf rod the other day. Light responsive and not a lot of money. No idea why I rarely surf or rock fish.

Very nice looking reel. It will only be available as a 2508 reel, 210grm for sh and 230grm for dh. 7kg drag and avail in 2 different gear ratios (dh is 4.8) and will have a price tag of around $500 ish au based on info I got from my friends os. Should be released in japan sometime in august.
