They are a lot better than the CX40's for Bream imo, have a better acton and just that little bit smaller they have a fantastic tight action and a slow float. Think the are around 3.5g so they cast very well. I've only used them a couple of times but will be buying more for sure. Great little lure, well worth havng a few in the tacklebox. Great colours as well.

I have only caught a couple of fish on em but they are definitely a must have in anybody's tackle box!! That tight action and slow float are dynamite on Bream. Very versatile as i was twitching, ripping, pausing and slow rolling in the one retrieve and it came up trumps with this nice fish!! Colour 524 is a gun colour for both dirty and clear

I'm still yet to use mine. Since receiving it in the mail I haven't fished an area which requires a lure that dives greater than 1m. Hopefully this weekend. Hopefully I can get a pic for the thread.

Hey guys

Here is a few nice fish caught on the Ecogear CX40 in 527, it's a great colour for dirty water!

Plenty of luck. Midway through last week after the mini cold snap - Boated about 20 bream for the session. 12 legals, 7 kept. The biggest 3 went 34,34 & 33cm. Caught on 38 Crack Jack (Ghost Tiger Prawn), SX40 (350) & Atomic Shad 40 Deep (Ghost Wakasagi)

Kayaks are cheaper mate. That's the path I went down. That and I have no where to store a boat.
