Well Greg,

seeing as not alot of us have boat's, I thought it I'd suggest a landbased comp.

Like I said, it was just a suggestion and if you don't want to do it, you don't have to mate. I have spoken to Theo and he think's it's be good to have a landbased comp.

the hole idea of the vic super punts were for people to build up cheap fshing boats with leccy only power.

There are that many ideas shooting around at the moment, no body knows what they are doing or what stage the 'comp' is at in terms of progress.

Things need to be kept simple, theres about 5 different threads on the punts, simple it down, do a test run, get numbers on whos going, who has decked out tinnys, readdy for the comps.
Theres been a hole lot of **************** talking going on, IMO

keep it simple and it will happen, keep goin how it is and it will NEVER get off the ground.

Not a very good time to orgenise it now that you guys have got school now.

There is no fire without a spark guys so i reckon you should give it a go as simple as possible for now then eventually you will build a fire not point in adding Petrol and Zippy lighter fluid when you dont have a spark!

I dunno if that was a good metaphore or not but yer something to think about along with the other 20 suggestions but the pattern is keep it simple so far.

Hahaha could always have Vic Super Karts and have people zooming around in lil Go-Karts shore bashing..........Hahaha or not........

I'd hate to see this go to waste so how about a compromise.

I think it would be a VERY good idea to have a 'Electric Olny' social day. Just pick a spot and be done with it. So rubbish, just a day to sound things out and see how people feel.

From there you can get the guys who attend to send in any ideas they may have to take it to the next step.

From here I think you'll find it a lot easier if you just go ahead and set a date and venue for a comp. Continually posting polls etc on gets people confused and you'll NEVER make everyone happy all of the time. Learn from your mistakes and stick to your guns.
