Thats because Nitro heads arnt suited for grubs mate.
As you said, stick with ball heads for grubs and bullet heads for jerk baits ect. cheers, Nathan

I was using a ball head last night on an atomic, and it was still twirling on the drop. It was rigged perfectly. Don't know why it was happening

What size hook and grub where you using ? Sometimes the hook size can put it off if the plastic is small. ei a 2# Hook on a 2" plastic...

Can't remember what size it is now mate, but i'll try it with a longer hook next time and see if that makes a difference. (It was fine on a turtle back, just not on an atomic)
Never had a problem before. Cheers Paul |
