Cotts are so much better than swags, more room, comfortable, heaps cooler in summer and perfect in winter.
My camp rite has been great, except for a very heavy downpour on thursday night (nearly 30mm in a couple of hours) 4 or 5 drips found the way through.
Thats the only problem i've had with mine and nothing a little scotch guard cant fix.
I also sent 2 oz tent single cots back with defects.

sure mate.. the straps that connect to the extendable poles at the head end tore where they join the poles both on their first used, first one was while setting it up and the second one failed while i was in it sleeping. The manufacturer claimed it was production errors. The third cott had the head end around 10cm lower than the foot end so was very uncomfortable.
Haven't had a single issue since changing brands with plenty of use.

Hopefully with a bit of luck, I don't end up with any of those problems. Especially when paying good money...I'll find out shortly.

Ordered last Thursday and arrived yesterday, (Thursday) exactly one week to arrive. Pretty good service and free freight, can't argue with that.

Fair to say I'm pretty damn happy with it so far. Set it up this morning and literally only took a few seconds or so to set up.

Super roomy and super comfy...I know where I'll be sleeping tonight.

Looking forward to testing it out in the bush...Might have to organise a home away from home mission very soon.

Throw a 4wd self inflating mattress in there and it's even more comfortable, I sleep better in mine than in my own bed most times.

I bought one of these: https://kamprite.com/shop/tents/off-...size-tent-cot/

Already had a Dune brand self-inflating mattress that fits it.
Bit bulky, and heavy - but set up and take down considerably faster than my mates swag, up off the ground, comfy and cosy.

If I leave the mattress I reck0n I could just about fit the cot on the Pro Angler and camp up a river somewhere.

Been rocking one of these for over 10 years. Takes 5 min to set up (no exaggeration) Only one pole, and I sleep on a self inflating mat. comfy as. Takes bugger all room. 0 deg Sleeping Bag, Tent and Sleeping mat all weigh in at around 3.1Kgs.

Possibly one of the best things I've brought...Recently spent two nights sleeping in the Oz Tent Jet Bunker XL. Both nights it rained hard, non stop and not one drop of water came inside, super warm and comfy, slept like a drunken baby.

Waiting for the barge at dirk hartog island last year was and will be the last time I ever use a swag. Had those pesky sand crabs crawling over the swag all night and I got next to no sleep. Been borrowing the old mans oztrail tent cot lately but will be getting the oztent for myself wen funds allow
