Soft Plastic Rod Selection

First up a Merry Christmas to everyone sifting through the forums today!

I'm in the market for a new light soft plastics rod for bream/whiting/occasional flathead/redfin/occasional bass, to match a new 2015 2506pe-h exist (see my post in Tavern about clearance sale) and want to hear your suggestions.

My budget is open, as I'm willing to wait and save up for something decent and have been tossing around the idea of a millerod XF Classic.
I'm going to use the rod from my kayak, so want to keep it in the 6'8" - 6'10" range. 2 piece is beneficial, but not essential. On average, the lightest I cast is down to 1/16th and the heaviest up to 1/6th. The rod will be primarily for flicking plastics and may occasionally be switched to small bream jerkbaits or the likes.

Has anyone had experience with either the millerods XF classic or megabass orochi scramble tour that could weigh in on their suitability? All other rod suggestions are more than welcome!
