Abel Nippers too pricey? Heres the best $10 cutter for $8

I recently conducted a survey of some of the most respected anglers in the country.

Who makes the best $10 braid cutters? - 100% of anglers said "those blue berkley ones with the blunt ends"

And now they are 20% off

Shimano braid cutters were also Highly rated but the old black handled Rapalas were universally hated

Of the reasons the berkley scissors rated highly - "You can carry them in your pocket without fear of puncturing your scrote", was my favourite

I'm afraid I don't qualify! Im not even a respected Angler with my two kids!!!!

After seeing your vid I ordered the Berkleys as they are now cheaper than the Surecatch version and look to be just as effective. Also ordered the following for comparison.

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Daiwa-DB...EAAOSwR4FZgBuj

I also placed an order fro the Abel and then realised I am but a mere mortal without a super human salary and quickly rescinded.

Great information here
My recommendation on braid scissors would be Dr Slick brad scissors. We have been using them for years and have not had to purchase a new set in over 5 years. Forget how much they cost but not much more than the cheapies but value in the long run
