Yeah I buy all my gear, most of its by reselling stuff for more stuff haha and selling all things I didn't use around the house on eBay. A job like suggested would be good though, work 12 hours a week and you will get around $110, you'll have $300 a month easy.

too young for a job LOL you can get a job at woolies and coles etc. otherwise you can just ask around see what small jobs like mowing the lawn that people will give you and tell them how much you want for it. and if that doesn't work than the good old pocket money would do the trick.
good luck on the job seeking

as said local jobs or mowing lawns will do the trick, but don't be keen to go out and buy a heap of lures in one big hit as there is always something new coming out that you'll want so build your collection slowly and remember that although most users on here have 400-500 plus lures we can count the ones we use each outing on one hand.

Maybe weeding peoples gardens for $10 an hour or something, you need hardly any equiptment and the old people around will need your help.
Don't worry about mowing lawns it could cost you a fortune if you break a house or car window or something else leave it for the people that are fully insured. |

haha dude i wasn't serious. great if you want to make bugger all cash and turn yourself into a dropkick simultaneously. just get a job.
even if it doesn't pay well, living at home and at your age you will get taxed bugger all, don't have to worry about bills etc and it can all go straight into lures. |

If you have a bike, maybe do some paper runs or something? Dunno how well they pay, but its a pretty easy job. Or, you can ask your parents to reward you for getting good marks at school, it is a win win situation, more money to blow on fishing gear, more motivation to do well at school, puts a smile on everyones face .

mate have you tried dropping off the brochures for coles, woolies etc. dunno who you would see about that but they always advertise in the local paper up here looking for people to go around and drop into mailboxs or throw em on the footpath. Easy money.
Trolley boy? things like that. Good luck. Cheers Gav. |

Get your dad interested and involved in fishing with lures -take him out on a fishing trip an show him. Once he's converted, the lures will come.
