Stevo

P.S As for tyres I always drop 20% highway tyre pressure on the hard gravel roads down south.
ya know what - thats exactly where i ended up 40 cold - 20% = 32 cold .... which = 40 hot as i found out ..... so much for the 4psi rule ..... great minds think alike - eventually

First up a big thanks to Glen for taking me out and getting me my first Bara.

Like i said mate if you are ever in Perth and want to catch one of our famous blow fish just let me know ....

We had a great friday arvo on the water. A short curise from the rampo and we were dropping in the mud crab pots in a feeder creek, and as the tdie was falling the bait was getting flushed out as well.

The bara were there boofing away, but we tried a few different options from plastics to top waters for no joy.

Glen made the call to head to another creek to drop the rest of the crab pots and try a few trolling runs.

im happy to say that this one unfolded fairly much like Glen told me it would, a short trolling run up the creek, and retrn down the other side should catch us a bara.

Right on cue this fella latched onto a good old green scorp! end result, a very happy Macca!!

i'm a bara virgin no more ...... yay!

Awesome stuff mate. Fillets for the family or release it to pop someone elses cherry? I showed Jen your blog last night, I would love to do the same sort of trip one day. Very envious. Say hi to the girls for us.
