OSP Bent Minnow Questions

Hi everyone
Just wondering whats everyone's opinion on the snaps and trebles that come with the OSP bent minnow's are? what size are the snaps eg 00 or 000? What size trebles would you use? Also has anyone had any experience with the RP-021 Threadfin shad OSP Bent Minnow colour?

Thanks Yakfishing

I left the hooks in place with my first Bent Minnow lure and they started rusting in just a few weeks and that was after washing it down in freshwater after use. Now I just replace the back hooks immediately with quality hooks of the same size. I replace the centre hook with quality decoy assist hooks in a red colour. The vast majority of bream are caught on the assist hooks. I have never used the attached snaps, so I can tell you if they're any good or not.

Any of you tried this new one by O.S.P.?

In my opinion it's the new king of topwater lures, putting the bent minnow to shame on action and ease of use!

Say hello to the Over-Real!!

Japan lure shop, actually did the order because they had a pink head bent and just added a couple of wake baits in.

DAMN i only just seen this would have been handy for vicbream.
wonder if it will be as effective with just the single middle treble when the fish are trying to slurp off the surface.

im no pro at using these lures, but the pink head one you have is the one everyone raves on about.
also people substitute the middle treble with an assist style hook just like windknot has mentioned.
i leave the snaps on the lure. (or take them out if im already using a lure clip)
