How are you enjoying the Gen Black Scratchy 702lfs

I'm looking for a cheapish stick to throw 1/16th's a long way.

Does anyone use one of these - What are your thoughts

We have the Wicked Weasel and it is a great rod I am sure the Scratchy would be no different. Common feedback I hear is that the Gen Black rods perform above the line rating as far as the size of fish you can handle on them.

Biggest Con is that they use microguides so if you are using thinker leaders >10lb a FG Knot is probably advisable

Ahh Bugger - I forgot about the micro guides - I'm not a massive fan but they shouldnt be a problem with my intended use. Thanks BW
