$400 rod to suit 2508 Certate

Hello.
I have been looking for rods to match my Certate.
Originally I really wanted a Samurai 201-2 but they have been almost impossible to find. Most stores are saying they are being discontinued and early 2014 a new model is coming out.

For travel purposes, especially on planes, I need a 2 piece rod.

The majority of my fishing will be with soft plastics and occasional surface work for whiting.

I would love to try and find an "all-rounder" rod. It might not be 100% perfect at everything but no such rod exists.

Would you guys have any recommendations for a possible 2 piece $400 rod?
