Turtleback worm tails

Hey guys. Has anyone got any tips for fixing up the bent tails of turtleback worms. Getting a bit annoyed with buying one pack to find 60% of them bent out of shape therefore having no action.
I tried contacting berkley, but they just said that they are ment to be stored out of the packet, insinuating that its my fault that they got bent.

Warm water mate.

Hard to exactly say how warm but it's got to be below scalding as that'll warm up the soft plastic and usually straighten on their own and then dump them into a bowel of cool water.

One of those deep frying ladle things with the mesh bottom to allow water to strain through and keep the plastics flat via transferring to the other water vessel.

I've done a few Squiggles now, no problems encountered thus far but haven't been all to troubled by bent tails...

I havent done it with gulps but I have with plastics - one thing to take particular care with is how you lay them out to dry.

Turtle backs should be sweet - just make sure the tails are spot on when you lay them out.

I was straightening paddle tails, and laying them down on a bench to set, left a slight kink in the tail - so I had to hang them vertically

Ive found that once they are in the water for about 10 mins they usually have reasonable action cause they soften up..so try that first
