Popper colours & name

Damiki are in the final stages of producing a new 45mm popper. I am putting together colour schemes for these lures and is my custom, i would like to hear from you on what colours you reckon would be best on them.

Some of my ideas are
  • Clear with hint on orange on belly with red eyes
  • Black Ghost (existing damiki colour)
  • clear with orangey brownish stripes and red eyes
  • Yellow ghost (existing damiki colour)
  • Ghost Ayu (existing damiki colour)

i hope to submit about 4-6 colour schemes to Head quarters.

I will also be naming this lure (it will only be sold in Australia) and thought i would throw it out to BM members.I have a few ideas on this as well but would love to hear yours. if your suggested name is chosen you will win a prize

PS : When i get the prototypes i will post pics.

Happy fishing

rob

Would be nice to see a dark gun metal grey colour with red eyes and red belly flashes

varient on ya clear with orange stripes...MUST have a BLUE tail !!! as all the prawns we catch up and down the coast, both stocked and natural have this colouration.

I think the two colours you showed me are a must have Rob. Not sure about a name but.

Cheers, Dror

http://www.scuba-equipment-usa.com/m...plebejus).html

you can see the bright UV blue in the tail fringed with red. when ever you see the prawns running (the bast time to pop) they show up translucent with the blue tail glowing like a 'eat me' beacon.

at night when you spot light for them the red stripes become VERY apparent and the blue tail again glows like its radio active

im looking at re spraying a few of my 'ghost lake mead' Sammy 65's, they are a clear with a trans. mos green back. once i find the right blue i will spot spray the tail and red eye them to get as close a rep. of this prawn as possible

It does sound like a seriously good color though!

Dirty water bream love gold.. I think a popper with gold flanks, a gold belly with a green back and red eyes would be killer
