Been lucky enoungh to score one of these brand new off gumtree and want to do some upgrades before I use it. Going to put ceramic bearings and carbontex wanders in it to start. Could someone please help me with the bearing sizes. Have searched high and low but to no avail. Thanks Paul

Agreed Avet4life but those numbers are Daiwa specific and when I have given that info to the likes of Plaig Bearings those numbers don't mean anything or give indications of size. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Borrow or invest in a decent of digital vernier calipers and measure them yourself. something like these will do the trick https://www.justtools.com.au/kincrom...caliper-k11100.
Not the cheapest but look after them and they'll last a life time.
Either that or you could try sending Slazmo a pm and if you're lucky he might have the sizes.

Sol shares a lot of internals with the old Certate, maybe you can get some info here:

http://daiwafishing.com.au/services/...el-schematics/
Looks like bearing part #s are the same for the 4000 models.
#47-G522801 (#46 Certate)
#17-G467101
#62-G523401 (#74 Certate)

You can get bearing sizes from here:
http://roulementcasting.com/schema-daiwa-certate-4000/

Click on the hyperlink (orange) to the part number and it will show you the bearing sizes.

Cheers
Mark

Thanks Mark, I had seen that site before but couldn't find it again!
Paul, if you can't source the bearings elsewhere PM me and I should be able to help. As GH suggested, best if you can mic the originals to be sure.
cheers
Steve

Daiwa Td Sol Baitcaster

Have now scored original Td Sol Baitcaster in new condition. Can anyone supply me the bearing sizes for this as I am going to upgrade to ceramics before I use it. Thanks Paul

My best guess would be:
3x8x4
8x12x3.5 (x2)
5x8x2.5 (x2)
I think there is another one on the spool, I haven't got a size on that, maybe a 3x10x4.

as always, best to get them out and mic them.
cheers
Steve
