hate to think of the cost me and the mrs have spent since we started

spent about
1.5k on rods
700 on reels
200 on braid
150 on leader material
100 on hooks swivels and sinkers ect
1500 on lures
about 250 on magazines, and books ect
i bet i could add more to the list ect petrol, bait from when we started

I have been keeping tackle shop reciepts since Jan last year and my running total is (holy sh*t) $3955.45

Not bad for a years work. Actually had to give up drinking beer to afford fishing last year...

I'd scare myself if I contemplated adding to this.
In the last 12 months I've spent FAR TOO MUCH on lures and the addiction just gets stronger

And planning a jig/pop trip to fiji

without the trip it is a total of
