Restoration part 1

Have spent all day in 41 degree stripping down the Hornet for a full make over. Got sick of looking at it, and thought bugger it a new paint job is in order. May as well make that a custom job while I'm there. So what colour? I would say something along the lines of the new Commodores, could be that copper/bronze metalic or that teal pastel green with metalic. Might visit the car yards tonight and see whats on offer.

What are your thoughts. Colour choice?

Gun metal grey mate, it'll look good with the black sea-anchor.

Hey maddy, I was thining of Gunmetal grey myself the other night, but on a day like today I will not be touching the hull

Mark there is a few flats which do not hold that may Flathead in the Swan and Bream do visit. The mud holes are nowhere near as big as those in the Nornalup but I have caught bream there over the years. Could be right up your alley.

Up my alley, it sounds like me all over Rob. I'm trying to get up for a fish before swanfish, I'll talk with you about the lower reaches before I come up.As for your boat if your not going the grey you'd have to go R11, might be able to pick some up cheap.
Halsey coping the flack from the locals already.

Crazy as it may sound guys, a high gloss black is one of the best colours you can have. It actually reflects a lot of the heat. It does mean you have to keep it clean, but it looks pretty mean as well.

I could just imagine the size of the BREAM that would take a chrome gold 4.35m Hornet Scorpion. Man it would be atleast 2500lbs

I do like the idea of midnight black with glitter. I might even consider it. The boat could be called Midnite Express.

Metalic green (green meanie or Kermite)

Gold copper/bronze (flats fodder or madfish)

If you call it Madfish you have to have it all white at the rear. That's what Madfish's lures look like.

MadFish you`ll make the whole boat a live well, felt like we were doing a chase the way we sailed over that 2-3ft swell on the way out the deep
