I was interested to see how much a jet ski was - heres the results for that seadoo

"Pricing is yet to be confirmed and will be announced closer to the Sea-Doo Fish Pro’s arrival Down Under later this year.

As a guide, in the US the price is listed at $14,799, which historically works out to closer to $25,000 in Australia once shipping and exchange rates are taken into account.?"

We stopped to talk to a Jetski diver one day and asked him about fuel consumption - his rig did about 60l an hour at wide open throttle and he had a range of about 80km on a full tank of petrol

(Top speed for the Sea-Doo RXP is 65.5 mph (105.4 kph), burning 17.4 gallons per hour (gph) or 65.86 liters per hour (lph).

but it didnt take him long to get a long way from where he started.

He needed a Jetski because he dived out the front of the Mornington Peninsula.

So he had the rip and large waves to navigate before he got into the gnarliest dive spots inaccessable by land or boats.

So in extreme scenarios they become essential.

Heres an alternative that has slightly lower top speed and fuel bills
