Walls of the caravan was paper thin and couldn't get any rest from my much needed nanny nap.
Figured that it'd be better at night, that night I tried to sleep and the van next door had a bogan couple and I could hear EVERYTHING that was going on in that van. Cooking dinner, doing laundry, and the worse part, they decided to have a nookie.
Nookie + paper thin walls + bogans = Never going to a caravan park again.

That time I paid for 2 nights but left after the first.

The sky is dark and so clear unlike town!! Sometimes he will slip me a drink but hey no harm done.. Nothing can beat freshly caught whiting fillets under the stars
Sounds like a perfect day!
.......I need a holiday bad!

I just like lighting fires.

Here's the upside down fire - not ideal for all situations but I can think of a few where it would be handy

I like to camp 95% of the time. Much cheaper.... and down here you can find spots close to most of the ramps and no one around to annoy you either. Love getting up early and straight into them.

The only time I don't like it is in the winter down here. Waking up with a big frost covering everything is dead average!

Sand prevents me from sleeping well by getting into my clothes while I'm trying to sleep.
My dad's snoring makes sleeping with sand next to impossible.
Wake up the next day with what feels like a hangover and not enjoy my fishing trip.
Go home more tired than when I left.

So, now my fishing trips will be a motel at a minimum or if the family comes along, it'll have to be a 4 star minimum accom.

Call me soft. I won't argue that point.
I can honestly say I've never come home less tried after a fishing trip than when I started anyways. Camping/cheap accommodation all the way
