Part of me likes whats going on here

This guy is a known lunatic but is there merit to his different coloured lenses

Potentially - the different coloured lens’ will let in different amounts or different types of light. Might help if the conditions are changing so you don’t have to change sunnies (if you do that)

yeah he could just be doing it to be Zany but if different lenses penetrate the water better in different water conditions there could be something in it.

Not sure lenses 'penetrate' the water and it is the polarising film between layers in the lens that allows one to 'see' into the water.

Blue reflective films are supposed to reduce glare, help define contours (edges) and enhance colour (particuarly the blue of the sky & water).

Red films are supposed to improved depth perception and contrast.

I'm sure my old brain would be a little confused trying to merge binocular images into a single message from these old peepers, if it was getting a different set of imformation from each one

Yeah I cant find any info with brands suggesting this set up - I know alot of sunnies come with snap in lenses you can change for different light conditions or coloured water - but I havent heard of them suggesting this set up

Too easy - just shut one eye and take in the single stream of info
