The cogs keep on turning round the same old mill - but I reckon I've perfected the lead system - I can now relax

Roofing lead smashed flat over a skewer of wire - with Cable ties drilled for the acceptance of a small snap swivel

12 volt battery box for camping

Portable battery box I made using a toolbox from Bunnings and the 12v system I removed from my 4wd.

Yeah I watch a lot of their vids for the innovative stuff they come up with. But I always watched them with a slight smirk when they talked about “shtf”. Seems like the sh1t has well and truly hit the fan now

Have you seen the news reports from the States, all the gun shops with long queues waiting to buy handguns.

Yeah a mAte of mine just left the USA. Got back 2 days ago. He went to buy some home fitnesses stuff from one of the big stores. To get ready for isolation. Saw the line for the guns and said fack this . Packed all his stuff into storage. Got the family tickets back to oz and got out as quick as possible

After living in LA for 5 years - He reckons Americans are a different breed- and not the sort of crew you want to be around when things go wrong- add guns and you’ve got big problems brewing

Better off with a handgun than 800 roles of poo tickets

Yeah it’s interesting to hear these preppers talk

They’ll start by saying “ now I’m no gun nut- I just have the essentials”

Then they’ll list the six guns they have- then the guns they’re wife and kids have. Then the guns his dad left him when he died.....
They’ll say it with a straight face as if they have shown restraint in their firearms purchases

I spose guns are like fishing rods. You can’t have just one. And when you get one you start finding reasons to get another. And then your going to need some backups...

One of them keeps at least 1000 rounds of ammo in his safe at all times. And that was before “SHTF”

He’s a hobby farmer in the middle of nowhere. With that amount of ammo he could shoot everyone in town 3 times
