Help me to identify these jigheads
As the title suggests, I want to order some of those and I found a few but no packaging hence the question
I checked Owner website and they look different but these on the photo are very similar to Decoy's. Can anyone confirm what brand these are please (and the size of the hook if possible)? Cheers, Alex |

^This might be what you're looking for, Decoy Nail Bomb VJ 71. A good alternative are the owner Ultrahead 5149.

These are the Decoy Nail Bomb.
Owner Ultra Head has an angled tow point while one on the Nail Bomb is perpendicular to hook point. |

I run the decoy nailbombs. They're a dead ringer for the ones in the pic you posted. Mo's sell them.
Not sure if I still have the packaging at home to help on the sizes. I'll check when I get home tonight.

I think these are size 2 but could be size 1.

No mate Owner jighead eye is not at the right angle but at front of a jighead.
Also the Owner hook points to the eye whereas in my photo of a jighead the hook tip points above the eye. Cheers for the reply |

I couldn't find the Owners anywhere in Australia. At the time Owner Australia didn't know much about them. After showing them a print out of their own website they couldn't work out why they were even displayed their. They said they didn't carry that line. Things may have changed since then.
The decoys were easier to find. I've seen a few stores carry them now. I went with them.

Hey Joel,
They Both look OK. Main diff is the hook on the oweners point to the centre line of the head. where the Decoy points to the top (or just above) of the jighead. So depending on how you prefer to rig your placcy that would be the main consideration. The other difference is the shape of the hook, where the distance between kink and hookpoint would be greater in the Decoy for given size. (Not 100% sure it just looks that way from pics.) I use the Owners as that is wat my local stocks. But from pics the Decoys would be my pic. HTH
