Warren,
The only Shads I have used are made by Storm. They come in some great colours and are ideal for Bream and perfect for Barra. I think they're 1.5" thought.

HTH.

The smallest shad I've seen is the Lunkercity Fin S shad at 1-3/4 inches

1 inch is tiny, what are you going to use it for ???

Hi Guys, I use quite a few atomic shads on barra, I also like walking the banks of a few tropical freshwater creeks in far NQ casting for Jungle Perch, atomic 1.5 are not to bad but need a slightly smaller shad. I have used tails and grubs on them but they seem to prefer the small shads.

Are the Salt Water Assassins any good Warren? A slightly different profile to most plastics.

saltwater assasins

i can give a big thumbs up for the salt water assasin single tails ..........they have a sahd body but a single tail rather than the traditional paddle tail ........trevally go nuts on them ........bream love them ..........i can't see why jungle perch wouldn't eat them ...!!! ..........always wanted to chase them ....haven't have the chance yet .....!!!

but the assassins are tiny and brilliant on fussy fish i've found ..........really good tail action

cheer's drew

Must admit Drew, I really like the white Assassin. Deadly as a bait imitation.
