SAS Braid

Thoughts on SAS braid?

PB fish: 130cm salmon tailed (fork tailed) catfish caught on a 1-3kg stick with a 2000 size reel and 6lb mono. It was one helluva fight.

Gday Flickstick

I have it on most of my reels from 8lb to 20lb, I use an albright Knot 8 up and 6 down and have had no problems what so ever it is a great braid and has never let me down, There will be others with there favourites and so should be , but i do Like the SAS product

Pretty decent stuff, not particularly amazing or really bad. Reminds me of a more supple version of crystal. The pricing replicates the product in this case, you get what you pay for. Each to their own I guess.

Very good line in the lighter varieties. My suggestion to them is to work on increasing strand count.

I've got it on one of my reels it's not my go to braid but i have never had problems with the stuff.

I was under the impression that SAS braid was Australian?

I have been using the 12 and 15lb for quite some time now and i love the stuff , Never had a problem with it , got it on at least 5 reels and use if for bream ,bass and snapper mainly
