ATD grease
Hi fellas
I've found some water under the drag knob on one of my 2015 luvias reels. Looking at repacking the drag washers. Does anyone know how to get their hands on some ATD grease? Is it just renamed saltiga grease?

Alternative
I use this now Oakesy.
Inox MX 6 from the tube, the version in the tubs is slightly thicker. http://www.inoxmx.com/inox/mx6-food-grade-grease/ Otherwise the Mercury 2-4-C grease with a couple of drops of MX4 oil is the go.

That's a great drag grease hack Mark! I already have some Cals drag grease lying around I use on my older UTD reels.
At the risk of starting a marketing debate, there fun anyways... I can actually feel the drag tighten up as it spins up with the original proprietary grease in my new reels. So I'm after the stuff that changes viscosity after the spool starts turning. You guys are going to laugh but I find this helpful when fishing short 4 and 5lb leaders with light wire hooks amongst structure. Its seems to absorb the shock as the fish turns better than my arm ever could.

ATD can be sourced from OS selling sites.
IMHO MX6 is a good grease without the BS... Still cant get an answer from Cals as to the makup or a MSDS for their goop...

Thanks Andrew
Looks like the washers come as a kit impregnated with the grease yeah? Can't seem to find the grease on its own. Do you use the MX6 grease when servicing the ATD reels sent in for service? I'd send it for service but really can't justify a service yet, when the reels are less than 12mths old.
