Boat hire options at Lakes Entrance

Heading towards Lakes Entrance in early Sept and I figured its time to take my 5yo son out on a hire boat to see if he likes boating/fishing. Knowing that the attention span of a 5yo will be short, I'll probably not look to hire one longer than 2 hours and it doesn't have to be flash with a bow mounted leccy either...

What are the options available there?

Last summer I hired the boat for 2 hours, from memory its about $80 and deposit of $50. Be aware that these hired boat are fitted with 5HP so its dont really get you very far. having said that mine kids have lots of fun catch little fishes.

Chunqx, theres a couple on the north arm, I think these are your options;

Blue Riviera Ph: 0402 459 293
Victor Boat Hire Ph: 0409 403 001
Portside Boat Hire Ph: 0438 087 885

I read an article recently about the local commercial fishos granted some sort of license to fish the north arm during winter/spring at night, so you may need to head down to the main arm and turn right up toward Kalimna/Nungurner or take the channel round the back of Rigby, Fraser & Flannagan Islands and fish the sand flats. http://goo.gl/maps/Ayriz
