I'm teaching my cousin how to fish and he was marveling over how I can land an unweighted piece of corn on a 10c piece, from 20m away.
He said -how did you get so good I said - Practice He said - I want to be that good I said - Too easy So I've rigged him up a Cast-Tastic 3000 - Once he can score 150 in 10 casts with a 5 gram weight - he'll be ready for the 2 gram weight - and once hes mastered that - then we can start thinking about chasing the carp on lures Last edited by yellow door 1; 19-03-2017 at 02:01 AM. |

How this for a next level coffee table - the guy got the dimensions for the fish from his PB trevally.
Might have to have a crack at this Last edited by yellow door 1; 19-03-2017 at 04:54 AM. |

Just did a small scale test on a scrap of ply - as long as I make fewer cuts, round out the gill plate and pay a bit more attention to flowing lines and symmetry - this should be a piece of piss

either your cousin is the most powerful caster on the face of the earth....or those 5 gram weights are being shot through a pneumatic canon!

These little buggers will help with the accuracy - the jigsaw blade I was using was far too aggressive - bugger all maneuverability and some nasty tear out on the front side. But with these new blades, I can cut like a laser. Also brewed up a mug of nescafe instant wood stain for some contrast (I know this look nothing like a Jewie head but the Next one will) Last edited by yellow door 1; 20-03-2017 at 02:20 AM. |

I gave it a few practice casts (blind folded) just to make sure it worked. If you fast forward to 1:17 - the answer might be there |

I'm sneaking up on this project from along way away - intricate cutting has never been my specialty - so I'm honing my jigsaw skills before the final full size table
