Yeah it should make for some spectacular footage once doused in fire juice and lit.

The boys were super keen to let it rip asap but last time I got the weber going the neighbours called the fire brigade within minutes and we had security from other buildings sniffing around - so it was decided the back yard at work may not be the best place for the smell of melting foam, turps and explosions

Yeah - without a close up of how he attached the tow point to the roof - its difficult to gauge how serious the first of many safety concerns is

Bought a gopro recently. Realised that I can't wear a hat and a head mount at the same time. The hat clip provided is useless if you ever plan on moving your head. So I came up with this. Some braid, a $7 kmart hat and some dodgy sewing skills.

Looks pretty slick to me Mate - Nice one.

When I was faced with a similar dilemma I bought one of those "off Brand" Go pro mounting sets and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. There is alot in the package for $20 to $30

But I cant find the exact seller I bought from - heres one I just found browsing ebay

If you have a look on ebay - the "Off Brand" stuff is ridiculously cheap

Just a hot tip - if you have concerns about touching flying Foxes because you vaguely remember something about them having rabies - then your mate says - dont be a pussy- just pick him up - there hasnt been rabies in Australia for 20 years.

Resist the urge to prove your not a pussy and pick it up.

Coz while they dont have rabies - they can carry something very similar to rabies.

We ended up calling "Flying Fox Rescue" to pick him up and the first thing the person on the other end said was "Did anyone touch it?"

Coz the disease they carry can be transferred buy a bite or saliva getting into an open wound - your eyes, your mouth or up your nose.

Turns out this fella was a juvenile and he was too young to have the virus as it would have killed him already.
