What slack handle movement acceptable in new reel

Took delivery of a new Stradic CI4+ 3000 and am very pleased with how light it is. I haven't bought a new reel for a while and all my old ones have some play in the handle.

What circular slack play in the handle movement should I expect in this new reel. I currently have about 1mm of movement which although does not sound like much, it does slightly effect the smoothness. Does this seem right for this brand new reel?

Any advice greatly appreciated. Did not want to accept the reel until I investigated further. Thank
