ito spin still around, brand new still has the wrap on the spool, rare as to find that these days

Probably still the Deep Throat for this purpose. The Phase 2 Lycaon is good for that to. Has a whippier action in the tip and a fast taper. More suited to plastics you could say. Although the Deep Throat is still a better overall rod IMO.

So whats the consensus on the best MB rod for the flats. 2-3lb fluro straight through, small HB's 7'6" +.

Mine would be the Shoreluck UL 7'4''. Not as long as you wanted but is ideal for really light fluoro on the flats.

Yeah dude I got one , prefer to use the Deep Throat tho , just a crisper blank and I like the grips more , but still a nice rod

thinking about moving this, very rare to find one unused these days, especially with the spool wrap still on
