Uhm, Try the maroochy river, you can hire boats there if that is what you want to do as well?? If you talk to the people at Swan Boat Hire and tell them you don't know the maroochy they will point you in the right direction and you should get onto some fish, I know a new spots in the Maroochy so before you go send me a PM

Too be honest, I reckon It is a ripoff myself as I have been there about 100 times and now they have changed the opening hours to 12pm-6pm and It's $30 for the whole 6 hours per each adult.
Last time I went we caught a few barra and some big bream and so Jewwys which was about 4-5 weeks ago.
If you are going to fish the barra park either use Live bait, Pellets Provided. Lures or Plastics, no need to take stinky bait in ahaha
I caught a 93cm one on a live bait, my PB on plastic is 75cm
If I was to go to the barra park I would go on an overcast day so the fish arnt spooked by your leader size.

Brad Smith Charters

Google Brad Smith Fishing Charters, it wont be a Skeeter, but he guarantees his ability to get you on fish OR YOU DONT PAY!

We broke two pb's a 59 and 63 cm flatheads.
Here is the video from the other day.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDWK1...&feature=g-upl

He does Tweed and broadwater, but i would suggest that you go to the tweed as there is less jet boats, jet skis and the wind is shocking here in October and November.

tight lines
