dont know if i would use clear contact...i did read somewhere that there is a special film that you can use still looking........
Try pressing exit and see if that will fix your problem with the cursor..

I'm not very familiar with the Elite/Mark series but they don't have a Exit button. Try hitting Enter again.

Hi Stephen

Have you anymore info on the Elite 5 DSI. I am aware that it is not out until the end of the year.

Is the down scanning on this unit any good? Not trying to compare it to the structure scan.

cheers for suggestions ended up reading the bottom of a page in the booklet explained how to get rid of cursor so will suss out this weekend before packing boat up ready for trip north to exxy

StuKlose the downscan is structure scan this unit wont be out untill early to mid 2011 in Australia
looks like a great unit i think it will only have one transducer for downscan and 2D sounder.

stephen... you wouldn't believe it, gave her a clean up and a little non conductive lube job and she is working again!... which is a good thing as i am still saving to buy a new lowrance hds unit... cant' wait!

forgot to answer your question regarding the comp( clarence river).
had a bad first day
but come good on the second just falling a couple of fish short.
Dave W fished it as well. first day was hard for most i had a feeling that the second day would be good...and it was

No room for the guessing game there - thats a croc!

Now we just need a sounder that does an x-ray to see what they like eating and how full they are.

I have a HDS10 as well you would think that they do one for all HDS................... maybe havent put it up yet will email them to see if they can do it
