Exclamation Rod to match daiwa strikeforce 100sf

Hi guys
recently just got back from a holiday in Thailand and got myself a daiwa strikeforce baitcaster as I have never used a baitcaster before I thought I would give it a go so if any of u have any good rod suggestions please advise me

what line class do you intend on running?

not sure on your price range or intended target species, but the heartland series from daiwa are a high quality, reasonably priced solution, if you want something else, have a sticky beak at the raider series by shimano's ian miller

I mainly intend to target flathead, bream and silver trevally and I was thinking of probably puting on 6lb fireline on the reel and I was hoping to spend between 100-250$

Go have a look at the Strudwick SicStiks Pros as well, they are better than the Raiders IMO. I've got a 2-4kg bc model and it can cast 1/8oz lures no problems. With your reel, you could probably go down to 7 grams with the correct rod, any lower and it will be struggling.
