"Luvias 2000" ??
Hello everyone,
Latley I've been sitting at work with the Luvias reels staring at me, I really want to buy one but I've already got enough stuff. Mum will kill me too. But... my arm can be twisted into buying another reel lol . It's very nice in size, reasonably smooth and light to boot. Today I ran around the store placing it on random rods and testing it out, it's excellent in my opinion, but I haven't exactley used one. Their smooth, light, small, great drag, hold a fair wack of line and their just great looking. I haven't taken one out for a flick, if anyone has used one or owns one could they please tell me their thoughts on it? Thanks alot, Nugget. P.S: What do you think's better? 1003 model or 2000 model? Do yourself a favour and get one...so so nice.
I've got a 2500 and a 3000 and will be getting a couple of 2000's soon. Personally I prefer the 2000 sizes over the 1003 purely for the variety of uses a 2000 offers. An amazing reel that is for sure! |

I'm looking at getting a new outfit for Trout and I have a couple of reels in mind and the 'Luvias' is one of them but, I don't know which size to get and which kg rod to match it up with but I'll be using braid around the 4lb mark. I have a Shogun Light and its perfect for Trout fishing but I don't know what kg it is rated. If anyone could help me out i'd be extremly happy.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll grab myself a 2000 and run 4lb Daiwa TD Sensor through it, it's my favourite braid.
