I haven't wrapped the reel foot; I would if I knew the reel was only 'short term' but the Exists are staying haha

Rigged up the Steez with a 4 inch paddle tail
Rigged the Kohga with a Colt sniper fall 28gm

Going to really focus my efforts on cracking the code for shallow water ( less then 15m ) estuary jigging at Jumpinpin entrance. The seaway here on the goldcoast is a well known micro jigging destination but i dont hear many reports from the 'the pin'. Plan on spending right up until summer trying to get it figured out, break up my efforts by throwing the plastic on the steez to ensure a feed. The flathead are coming thick and fast here on the GC at the moment.

I dont think ill struggle for flathead as they are readily taken on micro jigs but im more interested in the reports of the occasional Threadfin school showing up, which until i saw the Sounder screen shots i would have never believed. I thought Logan river mouth and Brisbane river were as far as they would venture.

It's been a long time since I bought anything bling worthy, but couldn't pass this up. Cardiff CI4+ C2000SS on my favourite rod of all time. Will primarily be used on NZ trout, and hopefully a few bream during the wait.

Hey Ash

Only just saw this so I apologise for my late reply.
Absolutely love this combo, its my first choice spin combo and can't fault it. The DSR6100 has such a nice action and loads up beautifully - i definitely recommend.

Got a brand new stella fe 4000 last week. Took a lot of hunting to find. Not sure what rod I'm going to match with it yet! Any suggestions? Maybe Tiemco Jumping Jack Synapse 9' 6-16 lb?
