I haven't been doing a lot of bream fishing in the last year and a half. Surprised to hear the crab is still not sorted out with design and stock.
I remember a batch coming out that had some issues, did they release more?

It's been 2 years since they should on been on the shelf. Must be very frustrating for cranka

I used the last batch and had no problems. Maybe it's because I had one cast before it got eaten and snapped off

Hey guys, there has been a complete re-tool of the CRANKA CRAB baseplate design and any concerns with the base plate separating away from the body have been 100% resolved. There is a large production batch well underway and CRANKA management will advise delivery dates as soon as we can.

CRANKA is working as fast as possible to get stock into the stores and the hands of anglers.

I'll pass on any info or get Steersy to comment as it comes to light.

Regards

Yes there are spares being produced claws, legs and baseplates.

This will allow for the interchangeability that was originally designed and an almost endless amount of colour combinations.

As for the delivery timeframe of these replacement parts I'll need to get CRANKA management to comment on that as supply is all in the hands of our manufacturers.

Hope that helps mate.

I'm with the chief on this one.
More for less and easier on the wallet when the big breams play dirty amongst the heavy structure.

The legs melted together on my cranka crabs.
I was told I wasn't storing them correctly.
Something to do with needing to hang them by the claws or something.

No, incorrect storage just bends the legs as the plastic has memory but that can be easily fixed by placing them flat on a table and putting something with some weight on the legs and they will bend back to the flat position. The melting is caused if they are left in contact with other plastics just like Z mans the plastic reacts with other plastics and melts.

Yes we will mate, the same manufacturer does both items so if we take staff and tooling away from the CRANKA CRAB production for other models it will slow down CRAB production. Once this production batch of CRABS is finished and delivered new production batches of SHADS and CRANKS will be made.

CRANKA still has in stock MINNOWS and VIBES so if you are chasing any of these lures please ask your local to contact CRANKA so you can get the lures you want to use or visit any of the online stores that carry CRANKA products.

Cheers
