Insurance for lures

G'day fellas,
So I've done something really dumb and left a tray of lures (all my shallow diving hardbodies) in the sun and most of them have warped or cracked.
Is there any way at all I can claim these with insurance? At a guess I'd say it's $1500 worth of lures so I'm spewing ha ha.
Thanks for any help

they may ask for receipts too I recall losing a dvd collection when trying to get that under insurance was like trying to get blood out of a stone

wanted receipts, name of every disc, and wanted to see the covers of the dvds too

gave up in the end

good luck hope they come to the party for you

A mate backed over his expensive rods in his driveway and was able to make a successful claim with his home insurance company. They wanted photos of the rods. They also wanted a statement from a friend (me) that confirmed he actually had owned the rods.

well you still have the lures, they're just a bit rubbish now, so proving you actually had them aint gonna be hard.
Its whether they'll pay & what affect it might have on your next premiums particularly after any excess.
