'10 Certate Spool interchanable with Exist?

I'm considering up-dating my flats outfit and getting a '10 Certate in either the 2000 or 2004 size. Without picking them up it it looks to me like they are the same body size but with differnt size spools??
Can anyone tell me if the spools are interchangeable on these reels and also would either the '10 2000 or 2004 spools be compatable with a 2004 Exist and the 1503 RCS spool?
Cheers paul

The 2004 is just a shallow spooled 2000. Should be the same apart from that. Spools should be interchangeable.

Not sure about old v new models. My 2010 certate had an aluminium spacer which someone said was for spool compatability (but dont know if its forwards, backwards or both). Bit silly considering the whole RCS interchangeable thing was supposed to be across the line.

Plat have a guide though. Not sure what the white circle dots are.

i think with the certate 2010,
all old rcs spools, of equivalent size, will fit with the provided spacer,
but the 2010 certate spool won't fit onto any other real four reel of equivalent size

Oh, so the others can fit into the certate, but its cant fit into others? This design is strage.

I would get the shallow air spool model first, then buy another metal spool later. As the shallow air spool model should be more expensive in japanese rrp but what I find here in Australia are usually the same price. So it would cost you a bit less later if you buy a metal spare spool than a air spare spool. ( buy 2506 reel, and buy 2500 spool later).

But, beware for the 2000/2004 size, it seems that Daiwa didn't release a 2000 rcs spool. ( It is strange. I am not sure. Someone may need to correct me about that, but I just cannot see it on the official website.)

So if you buy a 2004, you may not able to get a 2000 rcs spool. Or if you dont wanna put another reel's spool on it, u need to order a 2000 certate spool. A mate here said it cost $175 at the moment.

I'm keen to know this as well......as in the '10 certate spools fitting and functional on a '13 certate of comparable size.
